Turning 50?

a co-worker is turning 50 years old next week, any good ideas how to tease him about it? party ideas, jokes, etc.

Isn’t this the traditional “over the hill” birth anniversary? If you Google that phrase, you’ll find a lot of funny ideas that may give you inspiration. I would suggest a jovial cake, maybe with a tombstone if the guy has a sense of humour – it’s not too mean or cruel, and then everyone gets to eat some cake!

Check out a party store. They usually have a lot of joke stuff for people reaching 50.

A very inexpensive office idea is to have everyone bring in 50 things of their choice. 50 pennies, 50 Tylenol, 50 Geritol, 50…anything!

I lurve Bri_L’s idea.

I would not appreciate “over the hill” joke gifts if I were the birthday boy. I laugh at myself daily, but I feel they are just lazy stereotypes.
