Do you think Facebook will take any of the comments about the crappy new layout to heart?

I hope so! And then they should get over it and put it back the way it was!

i know…its fucking awful

I really don’t understand what’s so bad about the new layout. It seems like “change = bad” with people no matter what.

@Vinifera7 its not so much that I’m anti-change, but I don’t like how it is so similar to Twitter now.

no…t just makes it difficult to navigate…which = shit

Vinifera7's avatar

In my opinion, Facebook has always been difficult to navigate.

No, they didn’t listen last time (the last change wasn’t bad, in my opinion) this new layout is not user friendly at all. I hope they fix the issue. I hate that there’s no time stamp on the activity.

they wont, “you just dont know you like it yet” is their motto.

I think Facebook is a pain in the neck to navigate in, and now with the new change it is even worse! I am really not even interested in trying to figure it out myself.

I don’t see what all the fuss is about. I like it just fine.

while i dont have any problems with the new layout, i imagine it’s largely because people tend to be vague; “I hate the new layout”.

but they dont often elaborate to explain why. i.e.
“it takes me 3 clicks to get to feature X. the previous design required only 2 clicks.”
“the previous layout had feature Y, the new one doesn’t.”

without more specific reasons, i dont think the designers could do much even if they were listening.

@jackfright – Lots of people have given feedback to FB – when you click the ‘I HATE the new Facebook layout’ you are given a box to detail your issues. I don’t expect it to change anything, however.
