How do I export Quicken files?

I use quicken 2003 on a imac G3 and can export a file and burn it on a CD but then cant open that file even on the same computer that just burned it.

That sounds like a burning program issue. How are you burning the files? Make sure you choose to burn ‘as a file’ & not putting them in folders or as any other format. Also, before you burn, check to make sure what format the disc will be burned in. I always check, Mac/PC readable, to cover all my bases.
