Does anyone remember, or know anything about, Martin’s Diner that used to be in Valley Stream, New York (Nassau County, on Long Island), on East Merrick Road just east of Railroad Avenue? It was a beautiful, shiny red classic diner, spotless inside and out. I used to eat lunch at the counter there in the summer of 1968, but the diner’s long gone. I’d love to find a photo of it or learn of its whereabouts!

@Dog It might be, but if it was, then I knew it when it had been modernized somewhat, because the one I remember was mostly red and white and the words “Martin’s Diner” in neon were on the roof – I think! Mine also had a lot of shiny chrome panels on the front. It was really quite a dazzling structure. In any case, thank you very much!
