How do I connect a Blu Ray player up?

I am going to buy a Blu Ray player and I own a normal television how do I hook it up to it ? Also does the Blu Ray DVD player have the S-Video cable you know the red, white and yellow cables?

When you say normal TV what do you mean?

if you don’t have a HD capable TV then there is absolutely no point buying a blu ray player.

As for the outputs, the only one you can be sure that every bluray player will have is a HDMI. It may have a component conector (red, green and blue plus audio) but it will not have an s video conector because s-video won’t carry a HD signal and HD is the whole point of bluray.
