Why doesn't Google Calendar work on Firefox?

Asked by cbloom8 (1723points) November 30th, 2009

I’m currently running Firefox 3.5.5, and whenever I try to access Google Calendar, either from my iGoogle page or from the actual address, I get a message saying “The page isn’t redirecting properly.” What is wrong, and what should I do?

Im running Firefox on Mac OS X 10.6.2 and i havent had any problems.

are you using greasemonkey? perhaps that’s causing some issues.

@jaytkay I got to that page, but I signed in and reached the error message. (I am running XP, by the way.)

@eponymoushipster No, I’m not using Greasmonkey.

Hmmm. I just tried my link with Firefox 3.5.5 & Windows XP. No problems.

How about another browser?

it does. I use it every single day on Firefox, never had any trouble.

I’m using Firefox & XP, and my calendar works just fine. Something else must be going on here.

I want to reopen the question that cbloom raised last year because I have the same problem Out of the blue, google calendar stopped working on this computer. I can access it from others, but not this one. It’s a new computer with the version 4 of Firefox on it. It worked fine for a long time, but suddenly one day I started getting notices saying
“The page isn’t redirecting properly…
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.
“The page isn’t redirecting properly”

Anybody have a clue?
