What is the difference between a food chain and a food web?

Please tell me. I know they are different some how.

They’re basically the same thing, a web is just a more accurate picture in most cases.

One has spiders and one is made from popcorn.

A “chain’ is linear, while the “web” involves different branches of animals involved in the predator/prey relationship.
