Stay with my girlfriend pt.2

Asked by imcelv (4points) March 4th, 2008 from iPhone

when I try talking to her about moving on she says can we just not talk about it and just try to move on when I want to make sure im not screwing myself again. But she says she just wants start over and not think about the past but I just want to make sure she still loves me and shes says she won’t be like the past and I said I wouldnt either but I just want to make sure so I want to talk about it, should I just listen to her and just move on and not say anything or keep trying to figure it out, I just really love her but I want to make sure she loves me as much as she did before. Is there a way to find out what should I do to find out if she really means what she says and if she really loves me and really wants to be with me. Help please

if your situation is in any way similar to mine i’d say move on.

I think this is a combination of both your insecurities.

you need to move on honey. If she keeps saying that she doesn’t want to talk about it, its because she’s hiding something and doesn’t want you to find out. She’s avoiding any possible conflict. I bet she doesn’t even argue with you. She lets you say what you need to and leaves it at that. Trust me honey, I am that girl

But what kind of relationship can you really have with her if there is no communication? Sounds to me like she wants to run things her way. She seems to have forgotten there are two of you in this relationship. If she refuses to open up and talk to you about things, I can see that sooner or later you will resent her for that. I wish you all the best, but if she isn’t willing to do the work that’s needed to save your realtionship, you should move on.
