Favorite online comic(s)?

Asked by delirium (13715points) March 7th, 2008

I know, lame question. But I hit on it because I was smiling at XKCD’s RIP gary comic and realized how happy math jokes make me. I am Very picky about my comics. Art is Key. (xkcd’s art is actually really impressive. The stick figures aren’t at all cramped and are so amazingly dynamic.)
Mostly, I like great cartooning without being too stylized and I dislike anything with an anime-style.
What do you like? What don’t you like? What do you suggest? What do you think everyone should stay away from?

Once in a while I read up on QC. I let weeks build up, first, and then go back and read them all in a stint.

A lame question deserves a lame answer: Dilbert, which I only follow because I built a widget that goes and gets it for me. :-)

For good artwork, try questionablecontent. For ok artwork and amazing style, try scarygoround. If you enjoy videogame humor, try pennyarcade. You’re much more likely to get most of their jokes if you read the associated newspost, though. I’m also a big fan of Basic Instructions and A Softer World.

Because I don’t purchase newspapers anymore, I read them online, including the comix, and I regret to inform everyone that Opus is gonna die soon…
