How do i enable RGB on my freeview box?

i have not been using my philips freeview box because my tv has freeview built in…

now i have bought a projector and am in the process of setting it up, with first of all the freeview box…

i asked for advice on this….i was told that i need to reconnect my freeview box with my tv and enable RGB on the box…

i was taking in a lot of details (for me) and i forgot to say that the tv had freeview built in did this matter or make it trickier…i did ask if the process was easy and the guy said yes but didn’t say how to do it…

i have had to do other stuff like buy extra cables, i can never take everything in when i ask about the mysteries of technology previously unknown to me…i would appreciate it if someone could tell me what to do…i do not know what RGB is to be honest!
it is not mentioned in the tv manual…

i have connected the box to the tv…i imagine i need to change a setting somewhere on the tv….
