Asked by zzc (1135points) August 2nd, 2010

I was almost finished answering, I’d written a lot! I don’t know what I did, but poof, it disappeared! Any tricks to try to get it back? It was really good too!

Aww. =( You might just have to try retyping it.

My internet has a certain characteristic which causes it to restart itself a lot, which means a lot of my answers get lost and involve me retyping. :P So every time I have a long answer, I copy it pretty often so I can just paste instead of get annoyed! xD

Often you can hit your “back” arrow icon/button thingy and your work may still be there.

You might want to try using notepad on your computer. That way when you’re finished typing your response, you just copy and paste it to fluther.

My iMac has Stickies (e-post-it-notes). I keep several of them around for shopping lists, pass words, favorites quotes, recipes, reminders and misspellings of “definitely.” Also a good place to c/p.
