What's best way to connect ipad facetime to android mytouch to video chat between them?

My wife has ipad and I have mytouch, how do we video chat?

You cant. FaceTime is totally different and uses apple servers.

It was my understanding that facetime only works between Apple devices, can’t you just Skype between them?

@RareDenver Skype on iDevices doesnt have video yet.

@XOIIO I did not realise that, still haven’t used Skype on my iPhone

And yeah try skype, if the android phone supports video calling through skype it’ll work.

I guess it isn’t supported on the 4th gen ipod touch

@XOIIO Well that’s strange. Hmm, try deleting the app and reinstalling if there isn’t a Skype update waiting for you in the app store.

The ipod touch is not really a phone, strictly speaking. It’s an iPod which can run applications.

Otherwise, why would anyone bother buying an iPhone ?
