What's the name of the character in this picture?

I’m referring to the bale of hay with glasses on it. I see that thing from time to time and never knew where it was from. I was thinking maybe it was from a sitcom or movie, but I don’t know. Any ideas?

P.S. Ignore the title of the book depicted in the image. The image was from one of Cracked’s “Funny Captions” contests and therefore the title of the book in that image likely has no relevance to the identity of the bale of hay with glasses on it.

Cousin It COUSIN IT Cousin It For real, Cousin It was the name of the character, covered in hair and babbling some weird mumble. Much loved member of the Addams family.

Cousin itt I learned something today.

I’m sorry, but that is not cousin Itt.

Itt was all hair, and that thing in the link looks like twine or hemp.

See, the book is about an actual little boy, the title is referencing cousin Itt, so the photo is a representation. It isn’t about a hairy boy, but a tortured child.

“P.S. Ignore the title of the book depicted in the image”

But I get Itt.
