Is there a good way to glue rubber together?

Asked by Fieryspoon (1058points) October 5th, 2008 from iPhone

will apoxy work? My iPhone case broke, and it’s just annoying enough to me that I’ll probably buy another if I can’t fasten the tiny tear back together.

Judi-
is that why it’s called ‘rubber cement’?

i’ve always wondered. i kind of always thought it was because it feels rubbery if you let it dry and then squish it between your fingers.

I just threw that answer out there. I have no idea.
