What were your best three video games of 2008?

My most non liked one was GTA 4. I felt it was a disappointment, hardly as fun as San Andreas.

@dynamicduo- I feel the same, San andreas was awesome
@eambos- fallout 3 was good but it was too easy, elder scrolls 4 – oblivion was better, left 4 dead is awesome!

@allen_o Did you play Fallout 3 on the hardest mode? I will agree that even at that mode it was too easy, my partner played through as evil and had more than 20,000 caps collected. Oblivion was indeed awesome, I should reinstall that and install a bunch of addons to really make it an awesome game (like making the harvested ingredients go away, that should have been in there by default!).

Left 4 Dead, Fallout 3, Guitar Hero World Tour

just the games that ive had the most fun playing. only play L4D and GH:WT with friends so i usually always have a great time.

@dynamicduo- to be honest, I finished it on normal, did everything, got the playstation platinum (equivilent of getting all the xbox 360 achievements), and went back to oblivion, it’s a good game but it will never be as good as oblivion

@triiiple- I was glad that GH:WT had a tool (band) section

Mine would probs be (in order)...

1) Super Smash Bros. Brawl
2) World of Goo
3) Fallout 3

But it was a pretty excellent year for games, all around.

What?! You haven’t heard of it?! It’s a masterpiece! It’s available for PC, Mac, Linux, and Wii.

I don’t play PC games, and I sold my Wii when I realized it wasn’t for me, but I’ll take you word for It

Battlefield: Bad company is a fun online game. The single player game is good also.

Aaah! Don’t play PC games? Then you miss out on the wonderful massive world that is the Oblivion Mod community! I honestly can’t imagine playing the default vanilla Oblivion, there are just so many things I don’t like about it that custom mods fix, from the user interface to adding in new adventures and loot, etc.

I have experienced oblivion on PC, my mate is an obcessive PC gamer. I play most games on PS3 though

Yeah, battlefield BC is an awesome under rated online game.
COD 4 remains the best online FPS though

i would say Left 4 Dead, and Little Big Planet, and either Fallout 3, or Fable 2 (although i haven’t played Fable 2, or Little Big Planet for that matter, i just know its awesome)
