Well, I tested a bit of it on an unnoticeable area and it stung like a mofo.

I have about 200 dvds I have never watched.
But they NEED to be in my library.

cak's avatar

@J0E Good. I don’t feel so bad for buying the whats, now.

J0E's avatar

Speaking of some, did anyone buy that thing?

whatthefluther's avatar

I tend to use all I bought then move on to use those that others bought….I have no shame!

Dog's avatar

I have some hidden away- someday I will use it.

Tink's avatar

Oh yes, I remember when I bought that something that came with the other thing, you know that goes good with that other thing. What a waste!

I bought an emergency generator and never used it. I’m not sure if I should be happy or sad.

Everyone it seems does it! lolz I usually buy ps2 games that I don’t play, sometimes CDs or DVDs.

I own a lot of clothes I bought on sale that never made it into my regular wardrobe rotation.

@worriedguy: Someday you’ll be really happy you have it.

My bf has a set of weights that he bought when he swore he was determined to get back into shape. He used them twice, now they are all just gathering dust under our bed. I however, have a ton of dresses and shoes I’ve never worn. But they’re there if a special occasion ever pops up. (Although, we all know that if a special occasion does come up, I’ll probably be shopping for a new dress). I guess we just like to fool ourselves sometimes.

I have a tendency to buy stuff, put in a closet or cupboard and forget I have it. Then I need it, go buy it, and end up with two of the same thing. Or like @filmfann, I buy DVDs and never get around to watching them. I have four WW2 documentaries and at least five horror movie compilations in my collection still in the plastic wrap.

I bought an exercise bicycle and never used it for exercising. It does make a good clothing rack, however.

I buy tools all the time that I never use. My son takes them outside into the yard and leaves them there. Sometimes I think I should join the Screwdriver of the Month Club, just so at least one day a month I will have one that I can use if I need to.

I also buy DVDs, CDs, and a few books that I have never opened, viewed, listened to, or read.

I’ve bought clothes I never wore. Why did I do that? I can’t tell you. Nowadays I am putting things I never use out of my life, even if it means sending them to a donation center with the tags still on them.

Books are different. Unread books fall into the category of things I haven’t used yet. That doesn’t mean “never will” in the same way that that black skirt with the large yellow and turquoise rectangles on it screams “never will.”

Oh, dear, @Darwin, me too—I used it as a kind of large chrome valet for a couple of years before I managed to pitch it out. Some good intentions do lead straight to hell.

jonsblond's avatar

I asked my dad to buy me this when I was 12. I never wore it.

wtf was I thinking?

Darwin's avatar

@jonsblond – Eeeeeeewwwwww!!!!

kheredia's avatar

@jonsblond LoL!!!! Really, what were you thinking??

tiffyandthewall's avatar

@jonsblond that is the funniest thing ever.

i have to admit that sometimes i buy clothes, and even after i try them out, a week or two later i’ll wear what i bought for like an hour, and then i’m like “oh god…this is really…what was i thinking?”. but then i’ve either lost the receipt, or i’m torn, like, “but maybe i can wear this when i go to that place…or somewhere…”

jonsblond's avatar

I liked the Muppets. What can I say? I should have gone with Janice.

filmfann's avatar

@jonsblond You owe me a new computer monitor, since I just spit my orange juice all over it from laughing.

Hambayuti's avatar

Definitely!

1. There are clothes that I said I would wear as soon as I fit in them – still hasn’t happened.
2. Books that I want to read – but still haven’t gotten the time to do so.
3.Spare make up that I bought in case I finish with the one I’m using and have no time to run to the mall – but I’m now going through a phase where I don’t feel like putting on make-up (rolls eyes)
4. Shoes that would go with the clothes stated on item no. 1 – but since these clothes don’t fit yet, I haven’t used them because they might be too worn out by that time and wouldn’t look good
5. DVDs that I thought was interesting to watch but then new movies came out which seemed more interesting – they’re all now a part of my to-watch collection
6. A treadmill which has now become a place for my husband to hang clothes on and for my 2 and 3-year old nephew and nieve to play and slide on – which, by the way, was bought for item No. 1.
