Words that you misspell are underlined in red.

It’s up to you to correct it. I open another browser window and type in my wrong spelling into Google. That usually helps!

Right click in a comment box…
Make sure check spelling is check-marked

@Just_Justine ,If you install Google toolbar it has a great spell check.

IE 8 has a spell check, I believe it is the google tools bar, go thru tools and look for an icon that has “abc” and a check mark. Add that to the tool bar. To check and correct spelling highlight the text and click the icon.

I don’t think there is one. I’m stuck with Internet Explorer which doesn’t have one. I’m afraid to load another browser onto my new notebook because of virus risk (I’ve got Norton, but I’m really paranoid anyway). I’m just working without a net. Most of my problem is not spelling but poor typing skills and large clumsy fingers. Spell-check does nothing for grammar or punctuation anyway.

You can also use SeaMonkey (Formerly the Mozilla Firefox all in one application). It works great, and has a great and fast spell check built in.

If the red underlines don’t appear when you type an answer you probably haven’t added a dictionary to perform the spell check. Right-click in the answer box and select “add dictionary” then choose English as a language and install the add-on. It worked for me so hopefully this helps. By the way this is for Mozilla Firefox, haven’t tried it on Explorer.
