Recover gmail password with yahoo?

I apparently added a gmail account to my yahoo one, and it says I can use it to recover the password. It’s one I forgot the password for that I need too, how do I recover the password?

If you did not do so, then you should contact Yahoo! support for the Yahoo! module involved and let them know. Someone may be attempting to compromise your account.

If you did provide a gmail address, and they mailed a password recovery notice to it, then clicking the password recovery link will confirm that it’s really you, and allow you to reset your password.
