Look. Make sure that you aren’t changing anything about yourself for some else. This “girlfriend” should want to be with you sexually because of the connection of intimacy sex can give.

You shouldn’t be with someone who requires you to do something special in order to be with you. If you do something special it should only be out of your sensitivity to their non-communicated needs, but please don’t feel like there is ANYTHING you need to change for someone else. I put “girlfriend” in quotations because of the fact that she won’t be with the person asking the question. It had nothing to do with my personal opinion on sexual orientation. I am 100% pro- gay. I have to be otherwise my boyfriend wouldn’t be too happy.

I’d ask yourself what you’d want about yourself first. I’d be interesting to see what you find. Depending on what find (or more importantly, don’t find), you can start your work from there.

I’d start by figuring out if its something emotional or physical. From there you can slowly widdle your way down.

This may not be what you want to hear but there is a slight chance that your relationship is just over. Just wanted to be realistic about my answer.
