How can you turn a slot car into an rc car?

I have an old slotcar track withcars and I want to turn one of the cars into an rc car.

The motors in slot cars are not made to carry their own power source, steering mechanism or a frequency receiver. I’d doubt you could get those items installed and still have enough torque left over to move the added weight.
