How to hook up a ps3 to a LCD tv?

I want to hook up a ps3 console to a LCD TV DVD combo but dont know how. Please tell me the steps in doing this. Also how do I hook up my laptop computer to a ps3 to go onto the internet? Do I need to buy an ethernet cable? Do I need a TV and a Laptop with the internet connected to it aswell as a tv to have the internet on or do I just need a ps3 and a laptop because theres something about the internet already built in is there?

An HDMI cable should work to hook it up to an LCD, LED and plasma (HD) TVs. Yes, you will need an ethernet cable to hook it up to the internet. I don’t think hooking it up to a PC would work, but directly to the internet or you could use a wireless router, since the PS# has wireless built in.
