Messy people. I like my environment clean and tidy.
I am not a neat freak by any stretch of the imagination but I do pick up after myself and keep a nice home. I can’t stand sloppy people that leave their stuff everywhere, clutter drives me nuts.

Other people. Especially ones that can’t be trusted.

@Coloma I’m the same i am very house proud, can’t stand untidy people. As a mother i do go around picking up after my child sometimes, but i must say though if i don’t they will do it eventually…Love a clean house me.

You have kids who will clean up without being asked @Safie?

Safie's avatar

@Dutchess_III Yep, not all the time but yep i guess i have em well trained lol…I like to instill good values and like my house a certain way they know that, and know how to be/respect when they go to other people’s houses too…btw i don’t allow shoes in my house either.

Definitely other people (roommates, family etc). Although my husband is the exception. Besides being spouses we make really good friends and roommates.

I’m a huge slob. My room is a disaster. But I was a janitor for a while in college. I have no problem cleaning the bathroom or kitchen.

But I fucking hate it if you fill up the kitchen sink with soapy water and don’t actually do the dishes. I hate putting my hand down into that cold crap to release the drain.

Poor physical or mental health. Living far from loved ones.

Lack of opportunity.

Me.

Most of the problems I face in life are problems I create myself.

On the other hand… I love my life still.

Aches and pains as I get older.

LuckyGuy's avatar

The all or nothing work pressure. Sometimes it feels like it will kill me.

Occasionally I come here to hide. (Like right now.)

Coloma's avatar

Count me in on the aches and pains, I should buy stock in Advil. lol

LuckyGuy's avatar

I am ache and pain free – except for the PIA demands from work.

@johnpowell My roomate always does that. Then she says, I’ll do them soon. But she NEVER does, the dishes can sit there for literally days, so I just wait like an hour until the water cools a little then I wash them. I can’t stand that shit myself, especially if I need to use the sink for something. I usually get the dishes before that happens, but if I don’t she does that.
Some suggest that she’s tricking me into doing them, thing is I don’t mind cleaning, so even if she is I don’t even give a shit haha.

Coloma's avatar

@LuckyGuy The last thing you need is a PITA. haha ;-)

@Safie and @Dutchess_III

The worst fight I ever had with my daughter, who is now 27, was when she was 15 and supposed to be cleaning her out of control bedroom. I had called her from work several times and she had assured me she was cleaning her room. I get home around 6 pm and she is painting her toenails on the couch, watching TV and had only managed to strip her bed and throw her dirty sheets into my bedroom instead of taking them downstairs to the laundry room. haha

Me: walking into living room
“Sooo…what are you doing?”
She: ” Painting my toes”
Me: I can see that, is your room clean?”
She: Well…mostly, I’ll finish it when my toes are dry and this show is over.”
Me: ” Is that so?”

I then proceeded to disconnect her from every device in the house, video games, stereo, computer, until she got busy.
At one point she challenged me by going and putting on her portable CD player and headset and smirked that I had not confiscated everything. I snatched the headset right off her face amidst extreme hysteria and outrage. lol

Waking up in the morning. Always makes me long for the cold, loving embrace of death.

Coloma's avatar

@ragingloli Well…you could always tape a garbage bag over your head before bed. lol

ragingloli's avatar

@Coloma
Well, I could always lock you up in my dungeon.

Coloma's avatar

@ragingloli You still have space available, just stacking the corpses vertically ey?

ragingloli's avatar

I can always have my imps dig out new rooms.

Whiny negative bitchy people.

JLeslie's avatar

My health problems. I just can’t believe it.

Being around dishonest people is another. I can’t take being surrounded by liars and people who think nothing about taking advantage of others.

Earthbound_Misfit's avatar

Betrayal and injustice. I’ve had to live with both of those things and they’re bitter pills to swallow.

JLeslie's avatar

Injustice. Great word. I was in therapy for it as a teen and still can’t live well with the unfairness in the world.
