I just spotted the flock banking in from the southwest, a perfect V formation as they make their final approach towards the micro-farm….tarps on the ready and 400 lbs. of cracked corn is spread on the runway. Marwyn is in the crows nest with the 10×50’s flagging them in!

@Coloma Congratulations on 30K. You are certainly one of the most distinct personalities among all the jellies. Your unique sense of place; your ethos; your willingness to go your own way no matter what stands out even in a group of iconoclasts.
We have had our share of contretemps, and there have been times when your attitude drove me nuts. I don’t know if you have mellowed or if I’ve grown more tolerant or if we just have come to know each other better, but we don’t fight like we used to. I’m voting for greater understanding.
But your sense of humor, I think, is what maybe tickles me most about you. Always quirky; always in good spirits; and almost as crazy as I am. Which is a good thing, in my book. The world needs more crazies.
You’re artsy; you can’t be bothered to smoke pot, but you’ll eat it; your favorite companion is a goose; you dance with cougars—real live cougars in the great forests in gold country—and one is always left wondering ‘what will she say next?’ If there were a dozen @Colomas here, I don’t think it would be too many. Yes, looks like the Cougar and the old Grizzly have made their peace and can now share in chewing over just about any carcass without much hissing and growling.
