Would those of you who’ve seen the film Florence Foster Jenkins featuring Meryl Streep and Hugh Grant share your impressions on the movie?

I finally was able to watch it last night and am currently at it again. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so hard in my life, yet found anybody so simultaneously endearing, ridiculous and heroic as Streep’s character in this movie.

Funny movie. Not in my top 10 for that year, but a nice distraction.

I actually found it kind of embarrassing. I kind of hate when people unknowingly make fools of themselves. I don’t think I watched it to the end.

I liked it and thought it was interesting how it evoked mixed feelings and ideas about various things.

@janbb I am like that, but that this is a true story made me stay.

The movie had the most peculiar effect on me both times. I thought I was actually going to cry while laughing myself nearly sick.
