Mid term elections usually do not go well for the party in the White House. If history is a guide…

Hard to say. as @josie said, midterms usually go for the party opposite of the White House. The reasons are not fully clear cut, I think. I believe that the turn out from the party the same as the White House isn’t usually as good as it could be. But the actions from the Dems during the Kavanaugh hearing have angered many conservatives and Republicans so the turn out might be stronger than a normal midterm election.
The saddest part of all that is that our elected leaders have created this division in the country over the past 30 years or so. Imagine how nice it could be if they led the country from a position of caring for the people and not from one of serving themselves!

Calling a Red Wave, just based on current events.

Bluer than blue.

The Blues get bluer and the Reds get redder.

If I had to predict, I would say we won’t see either a Blue or a Red wave. At most it will be a ripple and it could go either way.

It’s hard to say. The leadership of the Democratic Party is incompetent. They are so busy selling out to big money and sabotaging their progressive candidates that they’ve forgotten you need to promote ideas that excite people to win elections. That’s how you turn out voters. The “Republican-lite” strategy has been an abject failure.
